Across cultures and generations, enduring homes have emerged from climate, craftsmanship, and the way people live. Over time, many of these architectural identities have been diluted by mass production and changing market priorities.
Arcigami studies these timeless design languages, distills their essential DNA, and transforms them into adaptable residential product systems. The result is six Arcitypes™ that can evolve across sites, sizes, and markets while remaining true to their architectural character.

Rooted in the postwar vision of architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Eichler, and Rummer, our Elemental Midcentury Arcitype distills their language into transparency, authenticity and oneness. A luminous central atrium establishes the home's living soul, while expansive glass and exposed structure blend architecture and the elements into one continuous experience.

Inspired by the work of Greene & Greene and Julia Morgan, our Shinto Craftsman Arcitype blends the enduring influence of Japanese design with the American Arts and Crafts tradition. Layered roof forms, expressive timber, and fluid transitions dissolve the boundary between home and landscape, creating spaces that feel crafted, intentional, and quietly immersive.

Born of the American rural landscape of enduring barns and agrarian estates our Avant Grange Arcitype imagines homes that evolve over generations. Weathered stone, honest materials, and simple gabled forms evoke structures shaped by time, while contemporary architecture is carefully layered around them. The result is a home that feels inherited rather than invented.

In homage to the modern sculptor Henri Rodin, our Biophilic Sculpture Arcitype begins with a singular architectural form that unfolds through movement and light. Carefully composed volumes, expansive glazing, and a restrained material palette dissolve the boundary between indoors and out, creating spaces that feel organic, fluid and serendipitous.

Acknowledging the coastal traditions of America's shores, our Evolved Coastal Arcitype celebrates the enduring ingenuity of climate-responsive design. Elevated foundations, deep verandahs, generous overhangs, and aligned openings work with the environment rather than against it, creating homes that remain cool, resilient and responsive to sun, gale, and water.

A tribute to the coastal regions where architecture was shaped by sun, stone and time, our Mediterranean Modern Arcitype reimagines the quiet permanence of traditional Mediterranean homes through a contemporary lens. Sculptural plaster volumes, carved openings, softened arches and shaded terraces create a seamless flow between indoors and out—forming spaces that feel grounded, serene and shaped by time.
